    Definitely has potential.

Overall, it changes just enough to stay fresh and exciting through the song. Rising action had me worried for a moment, until the drop around the first minute mark.

After the first drop, I was expecting another bass or something deeper to come in. Right now, the song really needs some depth to it. The multiple layers and complex melodic rifts are a really good start (like REALLY good), but it still sounds flat.

Either a lower kick or (even better) a pulsing bass-line would do wonders.

I was actually considering to have an intense bass drop after the build up at the start, but since I'm using Linux Multimedia Studio, it's a lot harder to have something like that (I was thinking about making it a dubstep track, because that's what it sounds like when you hear the start).

It took me a long time to try and perfect the start, and then I worked on the rest. Maybe sometime in the future I'll turn this into a dubstep track once I figure out how to produce dubstep.

Thank you for your input :)

    Just....beautiful. Simple and wonderful.

The flowing harp arpeggio really helps the song move.

HARPSICHORD AND, OH DEAR GOD, THOSE STRINGS. I CAN'T EVEN HANDLE THEM RIGHT NOW. asdfghjkl.

On a serious note, it is very airy and light, giving it a nice nostalgic or resentful tone which I absolutely adore. When I listen, I imagine a man thinking about someone that he lost long ago.

Also, the nice round effect you manage to create while only using the violins and...is that a flute I hear?

"So the usual intsruments, a kazoo, a triangle, and a comedic clown's whistle."

Harp, correct. Harp-C-Chord, correct. Violins, correct. Flute? Actually, French horn off in the background. Although unless you were thinking of something else, I find with certain reverb, the ensemble can become greater than the sum of its parts and a non-existent instrument may be heard :P.

Thank you so much for this awesome review.

    Very "baroque" of you, sir.

It sounds very "Pachelbel Canon"ish in the beginning, but he was the godfather of baroque.

I love the harpsichord trill near the end.

To be honest, my only complaint is that it was too short. Can't find anything wrong with it. Would've been a 10 if you hadn't mentioned the worse instrument ever created in the description. *cough cough* burn cellos, burn *cough*
    Violins all the way~

    LOL! Cellos are awesome man!

Yeah well my "I know what it sounds like" comment was akin to the cannon :P
I'm totally down with harpsichord songs, when I make another one I'll send it your way... and use violins luls.

You know those 90 babies that seem overloaded on drugs, sex, and booze? Well, that's not me at all. 0;3
